Less Food, More Sex...

More sex?!  Certainly works for me.  Absolutely no objection on that score.  Anyway, I came across a Health Magazine article which highlighted some of the things that one can do to live longer.  As a child growing up, my father drummed two things into my head that could contribute to longevity - eating less (rather than more) and honoring my father and mother.  The first, as far as a child or teenager is concerned, is easier said than done; with the latter I had no problem, for that was often enforced - with a belt.  As an adult, I found out that there were also other things that could contribute to longevity and to making one look as if she were tapping into the fountain of youth.  Recently I saw the one about sex in the article referred to above.  Well imagine me running to you-know-who, saying, "Honey, would you like to see something interesting?"  Of course, all I got was a "Nice try!"  Neville, I can see you laughing.  Not funny!  But all fun and joking aside, there are certainly some interesting thing in that article.  Here is the list:

Things That Might Help You to Live Longer?
  • Eating less
  • Regular sex (at least twice per week) 
  • Less TV
  • Reaching out
  • Moderation in alcohol consumption
  • At least three servings of fruits and vegetables daily
  • Regular exercise
  • Not smoking
