Current Affairs ---
And so the cycle begins again here in America. Someone arms himself with a weapon and goes on a shooting spree. It is worth noting that in most cases, if not all cases, the shooter is usually male. Women don't do this shit, which means also that it is a male problem. It's as if the idea of having a gun is the substitute for having a big dick. Anyway, I digress, so back to the cycle. Someone goes on a shooting rampage. It becomes big news in the media. Some politicians start carrying on about the need for gun control. Other politicians argue that guns don't kill people but that people kill people. The President makes some kind of statement such as: "Once again innocent lives were lost because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble acquiring weapons." Everyone makes a big to-do about the entire affair. Then the hoopla dies down; the matter is soon forgotten until another individual goes on a mindless shooting spree. And so the cycle begins again.
It is time to beat all guns, bullets, and bombs into ploughshares. We must put a stop to the production, sale, and distribution of arms. We must stop these war games (the U.S. and NATO, China and Russia) in which we attempt to put our dicks (oops...I meant arms) on display, waving them as if to say to our opponents, "Look. My dick (oops...arms) is bigger than your dick (oops...sorry again, arms). We must make it difficult for the individual to acquire guns. We must make it difficult for groups (so-called rebel groups) to acquire guns. We must make it difficult for governments and countries from acquiring guns. When we hear about the deaths of innocent civilians in areas of conflict such as Syria, Gaza, Yemen, Ukraine, and other places they were most likely killed by arms produced by the world's top ten arms exporters: the United States, Russia, China, Germany, France, the U.K., Spain, Italy, Ukraine, Israel. Yes, President Obama, innocent lives will be lost because someone wanting to inflict harm will have no trouble acquiring weapons. As long as the desire for profit drives the arms industry, arms producers will not give a shit who buys their arms, whether the maniac citizen, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Israel, or anyone who buys them to give to rebels. Guns, bombs, bullets, warplanes, warships. It's seems to be all about asserting manhood. Sad.
